Cradle

Cradle, formerly known as Earth, is the native planet of humankind and the first among the fulcrum worlds. It is the 3rd planet of the Cradle (Sol) system, on the Andes Line. It is considered the cultural, administrative, and geographical center of the Union. Groups outside the Union, such as the Aunic Ascendency, also consider Cradle their ancestral home.

It has a permanent population of two billion, mostly made up of administrative and support staff for Union bureaucracy, and Cradle’s indigenous populations. The planet is kept in a state of natural beauty, with small cities and high-speed rail systems the only major intrusions of modern technology.
